Windows Tablet Solutions

Pink Surface TabletMicrosoft’s Windows tablet is here at last, well at least half of it anyway. The newly available Windows RT Surface Tablet is Microsoft’s answer, if not to take the iPad head-on, but to create a more business-like professional tablet experience that equals or betters it’s Apple counterpart.

We at interconnect IT solutions love new technologies and have been really getting into the Windows RT tablet experience. Now you can experience the trusted stability and security in a whole new form factor!

Another thing we are interested in, actually can’t wait for, is the release of Windows 8 Pro devices, early next year. These will be full Windows computers in an incredibly small form factor.

The Surface comes in two versions: one with Windows RT and another with Windows 8 Pro. The Windows RT model uses an ARM CPU, while the Windows 8 Pro model will use an Intel CPU.[8][9] Both models are able to install new applications via the Windows Store, however only the Windows 8 Pro model allows the installation of traditional third-party desktop programs.
